Cursive's Domestica

Domestica is Cursive's third album, and was released back in July of 2000. Although only 32 minutes long and being overly contrived and dark, it is widely regarded as the bands best album.

The album centers on the relationship of "Sweetie" and "Pretty Baby" who share a very strained relationship that both are unable to leave for there own reasons. The nature of the album is greatly intriguing to me because we've all seen relationships that highly resemble this one. So, despite how contrived the album is, it covers a very real subject.

High Violet - The National

High Violet is The Nationals 5th studio album and holds up to the bands high standards. The album doesn't break from The Nationals established sound, although it does simplify it quite a bit. To me, High Violet is the bands best album thus far and well worth a listen to anyone who liked there previous albums.

The National - Bloodbuzz Ohio
The National - Little Faith (Live, extremely high quality.)

Revamped

This is actually a revamped version of what was a reviewing blog. That didn't last long, because I am not very good at reviewing things, or doing it in a timely manner. So now I have a thing where I act like the bleeding heart I am, and gush about music I'm listening to. As you probably guessed.

So. HERE WE GOOOO.

Total Life Forever is the new album of Foals, a fairly young but incredibly popular English band. In five years time they've gathered a total of NINE singles, and this will continue to increase. Suffice to say, they're either very good or very overhyped. I lean to the former.
