Domestica is Cursive's third album, and was released back in July of 2000. Although only 32 minutes long and being overly contrived and dark, it is widely regarded as the bands best album.
The album centers on the relationship of "Sweetie" and "Pretty Baby" who share a very strained relationship that both are unable to leave for there own reasons. The nature of the album is greatly intriguing to me because we've all seen relationships that highly resemble this one. So, despite how contrived the album is, it covers a very real subject.
